I'm so excited!

Now, I'm learning the paint programs: Coral Paint and Photoshop. It's hard, especially for someone who has not really practiced or worked with them...I'm honestly enjoying it. It takes me a while, but I'm up to it. So I'm going to submit my practices here, people can see what we do at the Art Institute. At the beginning quarters, you focus on your traditional skills first, which are key. You have to have basic traditional drawing skills in order to grow in the animation field... they stress that out a lot. haha

But the teachers here at the Ai are amazing and all unique. Very diverse. The animation professies work for Pixar and so on. You get the idea. Great, talented, intelligent, and creative leaders. haha

Ah, I am so jealous! My poor friend has to hear me complain about missing out on art school quite frequently, haha. Glad to hear you are not only living the dream, but enjoying it as well!

Well you should. lol The art school is great, except for financial aid and its so expensive. They give you a variation of classes. I love the people I meet. mainly the teachers. most the animation teachers are working for pixar/disney. I think of them like celebs. haha but its really competitive.. like any job i guess.. but.. the portfolio is what you have to build and work your butt off on... a lot of people here have DA accounts... so many amazing talents..

My dream was to become an astronaut, but it seems like it wasn't meant to be. Instead, I'm thinking about traveling to space inside my head. If you're not busy, please join me.
